Summer Fun!

We have been making the most of summer by squeezing lots of trips into the last month. So far we have been to Kelleys Island, Holly River, WV, and Cook Forest.
I had never heard of Kelleys Island until about 4 or 5 years ago. It is an island just north of Sandusky, Ohio. Eric and I have been there a hand full of times because we have friends that own cottages on the island. We have stayed with our friends a couple of times, tented at the campground once, and rented a cottage with my family one time.
We took the girls with us this time. They had never been there before so it was really neat seeing everything through their eyes. It started out with the 30 minute ferry trip across Lake Erie. Norah, or Nuggie, as we like to call her, used the phrase "Wow mommy pretty!" to describe just about everything she saw on the island. We went hiking, took a lot of walks, hung out at the beaches, and drove around exploring the island.
Lana loved it so much that she actually cried when it was time to go home. Not going to lie, I kind of felt like doing the same thing. Ha!
Now that Norah is two, family trips are even more fun much fun since she is so aware of her surroundings and so talkative. Watching her and Lana enjoy life is the best thing in the world!
Now it's back to the "grind" of doing what we love, making awesome tshirts & other cool stuff!
